Since 1907, the Smith family has been farming 250 acres of land in Stony Point, North Carolina. About 19 years ago, Alan Smith began exploring the world of composting. As the composting method was developed, he needed a name for the product. His great-grandfather, who originally started the family farm, was nick-named "Daddy Pete". It is in his honor that we proudly present to you our professional, organic products that we can "Daddy Pete's Plant Pleaser".

Homes For Bluebirds a non-profit organization just outside of Bailey, NC, dedicated to research and testing to determine the most ideal nesting, roosting, and monitoring structures for bluebirds and other song birds.
